Group Visits

We warmly welcome groups who would like to get to know our community and spend time together at Canaan of God’s Comfort.

Rather than offering a fixed programme, we value listening first. Each group is different, and we are very happy to shape your visit around your interests, needs, and the time you have available.

Your visit might include a gentle walk through Canaan, taking in the Prayer Garden and our historic Chapel, or hearing stories and testimonies of how God has been at work throughout our history and ministry as a Sisterhood. Many groups enjoy joining us for our daily Chapel prayer, while others appreciate time to explore a particular topic, reflect together, or simply be still in God’s presence.

Whether your group comes seeking learning, prayer, encouragement, or renewal, we would love to welcome you. We are open from 10am - 5pm for visits Monday to Saturday (unless special arrangements have been booked). We are closed on Sundays.

Etiquette & Practical Notes

Please maintain a quiet and respectful atmosphere throughout your visit. Modest, comfortable attire is appreciated. Photography is limited (you may take pictures of the prayer garden and grounds but ask that no photos of Sisters or other guests are taken). Children are welcome when accompanied and supervised.

Please note that contacting us in advance is essential so we can prepare for your visit and care well for your group.

Contact us to begin the conversation — we look forward to hearing from you.
