Support Canaan of God’s Comfort

At Canan of God’s Comfort, we are called to be a place where hearts can encounter the love, healing, and truth of Jesus   As part of the Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary, our life is rooted in prayer, lived in community, and expressed through service.   Here in Australia, Canaan has become a place of welcome — where people come to seek God, to find renewal, and to rediscover hope.

Every day, this mission unfolds in quiet but powerful ways.

We welcome those who are searching, burdened, or weary. Through prayer, retreats, and fellowship, we walk alongside people as they encounter God’s comfort and truth. Many leave strengthened, restored, and renewed in faith.
 
Our ministry also reaches far beyond what is seen:
  • We produce and share Christian literature and other resources that carry the message of Christ across Australia, the Pacific, and beyond.
  • We serve in outreach, including work with those in hardship and those seeking spiritual direction.
  • We host retreats and create spaces where people can step away from the noise of life and meet with God.
  • We seek to live lives of reconciliation, worship, and wholehearted devotion to Jesus.
At the heart of everything is a simple trust — that God will provide for what He has called us to do.
